Spectacular. Absolutely beautiful. Are those Goodyear's bias ply ? Ive heard of tires from Coker that have the bias ply look , but are radials. It looked like a section of the left side taillight wasnt working. 👍

My dad had a 1963.5 Fairlane with a 289 H.P. and a top loader 4spd. When I was 10 years old, I remember going with him and trading it in for a 1969 Torino cobra jet with an automatic so my mom cold drive it. Both were white with red stripe and red interior . Wish I have either of them now. For some reason I got into VW’s, 1955 bug black with red interior and a whooping 36 hp

I realize early Mustang enthusists have mixed feelings about the 71-73 cars. Yes she is a bit of a big girl but man is she sexy. I could never have a machine like this and it be a garage queen, I would drive the wheels off her even though it is a rare car and collector item. They were built to be used. I have owned 6 Cleveland engine cars all Mercury products and boy can they haul the mail. Very Very nice. Thank you for the video 🎉✌️

Boss 351 was rated by Ford at 330 HP. Cleveland engines are my specialty. I built a lot of them. This Boss is a Really Nice example. Sadly I have the money, but no where to put it.

For 1971, Ford had redesigned the shock towers for the BOSS 429. Check out any 71-73 Mustang shock towers and you will see the same Kar Kraft design in the 69-70 BOSS 429’s. NASCAR rules changed in 1971 to allow GM to compete with their 350. From then on, 5.7 liter replaced the big block engines of the day. 429cj and 429scj were Mach1 options. Lee Iacocca called the 1971 Mustang a “fat pig”.

Very nice Boss 351, i was always partial to the Blue and Silver, but the Black and Silver goes great together. 1971 is my favorite year early model Mustang, Boss 351 is my #1, but very close 2nd is a 429 SCJ Mach 1 Top Loader Drag Pack car, would Love to own either of those.

As an old Ford/Mustang guy...as soon as you see a car that's not OEM that says GT you immediately get suspicious. If someone knows what they are doing it is VERY hard to tell a real dual exhaust car from a real GT. The math would say it's not a GT car...meaning if you want to drop a 427 in a pony car it would be cheaper to buy a C code car rather than a real A code GT car, which can be pretty pricey. Having said that, it was always my planned dream car to put a tunnel port side oiler in a '67/'68 Stang, but by the time i had the money and means do it I had already moved on to Turbo/GT Porsches and now Ferrari's, 2022 F8. But now that I am retired with plenty of time on my hands I am thinking of building one (a recently retired Principal Aerospace Engineer with a large American defense contractor Missile Systems company.

It's a beautiful machine for sure. People underestimate the 289, it could get it moving quickly and super durable and can rev the crap outta them. I have built many FoMoCo small blocks in my 60 years and they have never disappointed also they sound great. I am not finding fault, I just wish it had a third pedal and a top loader 4 speed. Very nice. Best wishes to whoever gets this.
