Btw everyone, if u accept Call to Arms, u earn $500 aUEC per kill as long as the enemies are not mission related. Typically there are between 25-35 NPCs at Cutters Rig, Rappel, Makers Point, and Pickers Field that you can kill. So on top of the loot you grab, u make between $12K and $17K per location just by killing every NPC there. At the beginning of the patch I did this in an Avenger Titan and just did the loop for these locations over and over to make 100s of thousands of aUEC over a couple hrs just by killing NPCs from my ship. *These locations are also where you find the numerous NPCs with the invisible undersuits. U have to drop all their gear on the ground then go back to the loot screen and the invisible undersuit (shown as a box) shows up.

You don't need to soft death those Corsairs. I often find rifles not powerful enough to force open larger ship doors. Use your ship's deadbolts to shoot the back ramp until it opens. You won't have to risk a crimestat that way.

Farms have been cancelled regarding loot...even if you log out in ship to refresh the game, these areas are empty!

Anyone looking at this video should try X4. It's an actual game with an actual economy and more than 4 planets with a single exploration point. Also you don't have to pay 100 bucks for a ship!

Vice trading is definitely riskier, but the lower quantities available makes it so you're at least not competing with larger ships that can operate at higher volumes a lot better. Hauling minerals definitely benefit a lot more from economies of sale than vice commodities, with larger ships being more economical with cheaper commodities.

its weird how many abandoned player ships there are i was doing some trucking with my drake catapiller and every trading spot there was 3 to 6 ships abandoned

Is this a fun game loop? How is the mining co-op play, ease or difficult?

Pro-Tip for my fellow Prospector miners or future miners.. If u have a buddy or ask someone in global chat that owns an Argo Mole, U can meet up and pull the saddlebags off the Mole and attach them to the Prospector to go from holding 32 SCU to 48 SCU (which is a massive difference in profit margins per hour). In order to ensure u will have those bigger bags permanently attached, u simply pull into a station, store the Prospector with the Mole bags, go into Vehicle loadout manager and all you gotta do is remove a weapon, then save and exit, then go back in and re-equip the weapon and save and exit. You will now permanently have the Mole bags attached to your Prospector when you claim it or blow up etc (until the next wipe) **U can also just look for abandoned Argo Mole ships on popular mining moons and get the bigger bags that way. Thankfully when 3.24 hits, we will be able to just call up the bigger Mole bags in our freight elevators to attach to the Prospector in our hangars (since they can be purchase at refinery stations)

I really want to try this peaceful game loop as its definitely more engaging than panel scraping or ROC/hand mining, but server desync is murder. Yesterday, I thought I had completed an HRT unscathed (it was easy in my Corsair) but while just sitting in space, looking for more missions to grind, all my wings suddenly fell off. So yeah, done for that night!

The Cutlass Steel has like 150K health points. Its one of the tankiest ships in the game currently

under the new 'law', all abandoned ships and the cargo they carry can be legally acquired by ANY AND ALL active starcitizen. treasure hunt time friends, treasure hunting begins! Last weekend, I found an abandoned cutty black with 17 scu of gold in its cargo, not sure why its owner fired insurance but damn, that's a lot of free money.

I really love this type of game play. I've been trying to find HRTs around Yela but haven't had much luck and the NPCs I've downed haven't had much of anything. I have been seeing a ton of abandoned player ships, especially around stations, so that is cool to see that those can be rummaged through. But that just speaks more about the (lack of) stability in the game, rather than the long-term viability of this game loop. I want to see where looting ships, especially those on all the RT missions of their components/weapons become something worth doing.

looting tip, you can use the npc bodies (especially with medium/heavy armor) as "mules" for additional stuff. Use a tractor beam to move them to elevator/cargo hold
