All I can do is repeat, what a good rendition of this hymn. Life moves on and versions and interpretations change. If they didn't we'd lose these old songs.

Careful with what this hymn says Its High Church as the proverbial kite..the last verse is about a view of the Mass and not Jesus Person. Was He ever a King with a sceptre and throne? Otherwise the ideas are very biblical but they must be better sung than the current strain of evangelistic rockers.

@@reallyfreemusic If I want to find tracks by Tim Hughes or reuben smith et al I just search on KZfaq and they are there. Can't do the same with Peter Wheeler or really free. Why is this, is a subscription necessary? Even looked on apple music. Whatever I'll continue to enjoy this track and and be pleased to have stumbled on it.

@@reallyfreemusic I beg to differ, this version of this song is really powerful. I'm just surprised you don't have lots of comments on this track. It's been given a modern, dare I say a rock-like theme. It works really well and I keep coming back to it. I've seen this hymn done by 4 people and organ at Christ Church, Easton, Maryland USA. (Worth a look) Different but also moving in its subtle harmonies. Then there's the version by the Huddersfield choral society, more traditional but just a few miles from me. Thank you for your version.

This is one of my favourite hymns and I have always loved the original tune. But this composition is truly delightful and captures the sense of wonder that the words of this beautiful hymn invoke. I also love the tone and textures of your voice which undulates in a rich velvety way!! May God continue to bless you in the ministry He has clearly lavished upon you :)

I'm SO deeply moved by this song. It's so beautiful it brought me to tears. Songs like this remind me of how great God's love is for me and how undeserving I am, which makes me all the more grateful.
