As one of the surviving band members in the Central Valley recently stated in a radio interview, the drummer was not able to show up for a gig and they contacted Steve who was also a drummer at that time and he filled in on drums and singing for the group. Met Steve in Hanford with some of the Journey members and they were all very nice and gracious with their time.

I’m a drummer. Started at 8 yrs old. If i was in a club listening to these guys i’d move hell and high water to get to that singer after hearing that and try to start a band with him. He was in another league way before becoming famous.

I would have loved to be in the room when Don't Stop Believing was being put together out amongst the band. That opening Piano Track immediately gets your attention the hooks the Chorus the Guitar parts. I bet Eye Brows were raised and everyone looked at each other with that Holy Crap moment! Pretty sure this ones gonna hit the Charts. I love that Song
