Ik heb waarschijnlijk rotator cuff en ik sportte fanatiek en op moment van de pijn toevallig 2 weken niet meer. Hoe groot is kans dat ik operatie moet voor herstel van mijn kracht(fitnes)?

@@PhysioExercise dankjewel voor je antwoord. Zijslapen is dus niet goed voor je lichaam? Het beste is dus op je rug, recht en zodat de ruggengraat en nek in een rechte lijn is ? Correct? Als dat zo is.. ik kan geen rust vinden in mijn nek op mijn rug slapen of misschien is het dat ik het mijzelf weer moet aanleren...

@@samantha9988 Zijslapen is prima mits het bovenste been niet over een gestrekt onderste been gaat. Een lichaamsrol of lichaamskussen tussen 2 gebogen knieen kan bijvoorbeeld prima en/of de onderste knie gebogen en het bovenste been erover heen kan ook. Bij het languit leggen van het onderste been (wat veelal gebeurd) nodigt namelijk uit om de bovenste knie overheen te leggen waardoor men doordraait, met als gevolg dat je de hele nacht in een half buik/zij positie komt te liggen.

@@PhysioExercise Vriendelijk bedankt! Zijslapen met gebogen knieën op elkaar is dus niet slecht voor nek en schouders?

@@samantha9988 Nee hoor, zou alleen adviseren iets tussen je knieen te doen (dekbed, zijslaap kussen, of iets dergelijks).

Ik voel het trekken in mijn elleboog door mijn bovenarm naar boven. Maar het voelt niet als een stretch die je voelt wanneer je je spieren stretcht. Ik heb deze oefening ook van mijn fysio gekregen maar ik weet niet of het de juiste is voor mij.

depends on the muscle soreness. 2-3 times a week should be doable.

Thanks for this exercise. I have a serratus anterior triggerpoint since 2 month on my left side due to rounded shoulders and posture problems. I can't do overhead movements and wall glides without triggering the pain. Is this exercise sufficient to solve this in a longterm?

Zo grappig. Ik ga bijna nooit meer naar een fysio sinds bijna alles qua oefeningen online staat. Maar de fysio ontdekte vorig jaar wel een hernia (die de huisarts inschatte als echt iets heel anders.. ) Nu toch geopereerd (moest echt) en daarna intensief met fysio geoefend en helemaal v klachten af. (Let wel goed op mijn houding...)

I have had insertional achilles tendinopathy with haglunds deformity for almost a year now. Its about 50% better. I have good days and bad days. I have done all these exercises, dry needling. I refuse to get surgery. I was told by 2 orthopedic doctors that surgery is not guaranteed to fix the issues and its a horrible surgery with a long recovery time. Im not sure what else to do but live with it. I bought brooks ghost shoes and they are amazing. I have a 3/8 heel lift but think i need to go to a 1/2 inch one. The heel lift helps alot.

I have Hagland Deformity with Insertional Tendonitis plus Burtitis. Receiving Shockwave Therapy from my Physiotherapist along with some excercises and it really helps with the pain.

I have the exact same thing with my right foot. I have had thus for almost a year. It's a little better. I have done everything except surgery to try to heal this. Unfortunately I am on my feet 8 hours a day 5 days a week at work. I bought the brooks ghost wave shoes. They are amazing. I also have a 3/8 inch heel lift in my shoe which helps alot!! I think I need to go to a half inch one. I refuse to do surgery. The recovery is at least 9 months and it's an awful surgery to be done. I was told by 2 orthopedic doctor's that surgery is not guaranteed 100% to fix it. No thank you.

Hi I have an Achilles insernational tendinopathy after taking fluorochinolones (antibiotics). Are those exercise are ok for me or I just should make them more gentle. In my problem colagen rebuilding is much slower comparing to "normal" caused tendinopathy

These exercises are great!!!🤗🙏. Thanks for sharing. I was in pain for almost 2 weeks. I pulled my left lower and mid trapezius muscles from doing bench press without stretching first. So it hurts afterwards when raising my left arm or moving my neck and torso. After doing these exercises, almost immediately, the pain went away. I felt even better the next day. It worked!!! Thank you.

Following my physiotherapist's advice, I'm strengthening the external rotators. Are the exercises you suggest suitable for someone like me, who has been weight training for over 20 years? Do standard weightlifting exercises apply to weightlifters? Should I increase the intensity of these exercises over time? Does it take longer for someone with a certain muscle mass like mine and 20 years of training? Over the years, I've eliminated exercises like overhead lifts to avoid activating the upper trapezius. I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing."

Deze oefeningen helpen mij! Drie dagen geleden een 'knap' in mijn onderrug bemerkt. Na een nacht slapen een lastige pijn rechts. De rust en de duidelijke uitleg brengen verlichting. Hartelijk dank!! 🙋

Can be used for both. It has a high MVIC ratio.

The key with these exercises is to do them PROGRESSIVELY. If you move too quickly through the exercises, it can cause more pain. Start at the beginning and only progress when there isn’t pain! You might have to just lay prone/prop on elbows for a week or more before you progress to press-ups. It all depends how bad your condition is. I swear they work if you do them consistently!
