What's good doc 🫡👍🏾🫡 thank you for sharing this video. Something I do in standalone and the in the software is connect my komplete a25 or my keylab 61 faders and knobs to the different faders and knobs in software or standalone so that I can have a more hands-on hardware type feel instead of using just and mouse yeah I know there are q links also basically I be experimenting using different setups. Can you share some examples in the future of that kind of process? Thanks again much appreciated

For example my komplete a25 I use the midi input 1 page which controls all the knobs I have them linked to the volume faders in the mixer midi page 2 all knobs controls the sub mix volume and returns n so forth you get 4 pages with the komplete a25 the Arturia keylab 61 essential the different user presets and different midi channels are my different pages basically to link the faders and knobs I may not be explaining this correctly if you played around with connecting the faders and knobs to the mpc software and hardware standalone you probably get what I am saying which I know you do to make this short tho I didn't want to go in depth

Other examples I have used my korg kontrol 2 to connect all the buttons n faders to the software and hardware mixer in mpc software and standalone basically I'm share this because using just the mouse kinda makes it feel boring to me to each their own tho 🫡👍🏾🫡

Love your channel and info you provide with it… Though, with this video… The music was too loud compared to your voice. I’m guessing you’re using your cameras audio pick up for the videos. As you can hear the room acoustics with it. Which I don’t think is helping with the music in the background. Other than that, thank you for the info and I can’t wait for this update. Everything they are including is everything that I talked about when the MPC X and then Key 61 first came out. Catering to a larger audience by essentially making these units traveling DAW’s. They still need to add keyboard and mouse support. It would also be nice if we could get external monitor support via the USB 3 ports with an external HDMI adapter. Like those made for iPads and such. As I would love to be able to hook up a larger external monitor, especially with keyboard and mouse support, in order to make the workflow even faster and better. The disk streaming is also something I brought up back when the MPC key 61 came out. As, allowing the streaming of sounds directly from disk will free up a lot of memory that can be used for other features. Not to mention, larger projects and more audio tracks. I also think they need to adapt virtual memory. Allowing users to use external/ internal disk space as system RAM. Letting the user choose how much. There are some other features I would love to see implemented in the future, but this update is going to be incredible for the future of all of their products. Essentially giving everybody a mobile recording studio to get their ideas down quickly and efficiently. Can’t wait.

Akai Pro is venturing off into a full fledged DAW... Which is going to be interesting. I won't participate in the Beta program... I will wait until the Controller mode version comes out. I rarely use standalone mode...I have too many plugins that won't be supported in standalone version. ...Logic Pro is safe...Apple makes Logic Pro...every other Daw company are in trouble..

I was concerned about you when I didn't see any videos from you on day 1 of the MPC 3 announcement. I just KNEW at the time you had dropped a video but was surprised when I didn't see anything from you at the time. Good to know all is well with you. Have you checked out Akai's full video about version 3? I'm talking their long version where Andy goes over all of the features. If not, you need to go check that out on Akai's channel.

I watch all your videos and am consistently amazed by the fluidity and conciseness of your lessons. It's not easy to teach any DAW system. The MPC system also uses complex and deep hardware (standalone units) as well. And despite all of that you make it look easy. Signing up for 10 lessons soon. Thank you for all that I've learned thus far.

Of course not. There isn’t a business model where that would be beneficial to Akai. That doesn’t make sense for selling new hardware unless the equipment costs more. Besides, what would make you think he would know the answer to that question? Those who know are not in a position to tell.

@@matthewgaines10he literally used to go to akai in japan and pick up MPC’s from Akai. Sample kings started the MPC tutorials going back to the vhs days. Its a possibility he knows something.

@matthewgaines10 it actually makes a lot of sense. The current machines are limited with memory, how many virtual synths can be added, and how many audio tracks it can hold at the same time. Making it very difficult to use it to replace your daw. So, why would it make sense for them to do that?well,to make it competitive to use, especially compared to other systems on the market. Don't forget, the maschine is not its only competition. It is competing with Ableton, logic, Pro Tools, fl studio...elektron, teenage engineering, koala and other apps on iPad, and others. Not bringing up the keyboard workstations and hardware synths coming out each year. I do understand your point of there being some sort of limitation to keep people buying the next versions of the mpc in the future. But if akai wants to allow 3rd party vsts and plugins able to be loaded into the mpc itself... the mpc will need the ability to hold more than one internal hard drive for storage space... and 42 gigs of memory or higher to assist with processing and rendering files, and freeing up resources of the cpu and motherboard in the unit. I may be wrong, I may not have all the answers, but when I bought my laptop to run my programs last year the first thing I did was take it to best buy and install 64 gigs of ram. Trying to own a maschine that will do the job well and last for years. That's just my opinion. I appreciate you sharing yours. Have a good day.

That's 1 of the Worst Design MPC ever made! Had 1 for a day. Got it and returned it! Got the Studio Black! Made like a Tank! And it doesn't Freeze 🥶 Up like most Machines
