Dont assume its only wild dogs that are roughless, every predatory animal has to eat something alive or that was alive to survive, lions etc dont go for the neck to be polite ir put their orey out the misery, its just to eat the meal with ease, nature is far more brutal than this, parasites are far more gruesome & by far more brutal.
