It amazes how this family had survived the french terror, and that their wealth is intact but having a castle fortified like that probably saved the family and its treasures.

A beautiful fairy tale castle. She seems to relish the accomplishment of the restoration as much as the end result. I flipped houses in South Carolina, nothing remotely on this exquisite grandeur. But at the end of each long hard battle of redoing the entire inside and landscaping the grounds. I was as much pleased with the adventure of the redo as I was with the end result. The presenter probably never sees our comments but clearly the tour is much appreciated by many and I hope they know that. A great responsibility for she and her brother. By living there and paying attention as they grew up, listening to family stories/history, roaming through out the many spaces - high and low - they are now the subject matter experts. Bien joué!

Lovely presentation. Love that the younger generation appreciates the history of their ancestors and seek deeply to preserve it. Hope they have lots of assets & investments elsewhere as it would help in the maintenance. Thats a place all the family should live. Forget about living elsewhere. If they own properties elsewhere just rent em out for income
