Do you ever sell your horses? This EXACTLY what I'm looking for in the future - something big and chunky, something able to ride & drive, but need a good temperament for my disabilities!

oh i tell ya straight and fast path to a mare's heart and soul are treats and generous hourly long scratches! those impossible places they can't reach or strain to get to, i tell ya the one who takes the time to scratch all those impossible to reach places , and do so long enough on a daily basis, them mares will follow you around like a lost kitten, they will do any job on the planet just for more of them scratches, they will do just about anything to make you happy with them in return!!! they will love you for life and will be so quick to forgive any past issues. it is one of the best therapies for bonding as well, treats and scratches.

oh wow what a fun project to do!! my heart races at the thought of how much joy and adventure ... it sort of has that Shire in middle earth feel to it doesn't it? I am super happy for you all and pray all goes well with your plans and what you set out to do. Just curious please? By chance is anyone keeping record with which breed of horse are being crossed with and their names so one can keep record of how the successes came about of what to do and what not to do to save everyone the head ache and heart ache for both breeders and horses? thanx :D
@hitchinfarm25 күн бұрын
We do keep records yes, we were thinking they should be more in depth than they currently are though. We're breeding such small numbers that I don't think it's overly valuable to society as a whole, but it's certainly interesting to us.

I love how you don't stable them but keep them sociable in a barn. You can see how they enjoy each others company.

Hi from 🇺🇸. Absolutely beautiful horses!!
@idellbrown182525 күн бұрын
What I like and appreciate the fact that y'all let them be. No invading their space and most importantly letting them have privacy!! Horses have been having foals for thousands of years. I prefer to leave them in the field unless it's pouring rain and even then again, thousands of years. You bring the mare's in when you need to inspect or after birth problems. I cringe when I come across videos of people who just won't leave them alone. The bonding process happens when the mare licks the foal. People wipe off the baby with towels etc and take that important connection away from the mare. Makes me crazy! Thank you for letting nature take it's course.❤

Love your horses. I am a fan of the draft horse. They are powerful, yet graceful, and most of all beautiful ❤ The icing on the cake is the easy temperament and intelligence - what’s not to love 😄
