Thanks for the detailed information!!! Just got back from a holiday in the Dolomites and I'm already looking forward to another great trip! We stayed in Misurina and Selva Val Gardena. It's like a drug for me, I can't think of anything else!

Bear Spray is not required going to Mirror Lake, it's near the Valley center and lot's of visitors walk there

We went to Waterton Lks NP July 2023 and had a great time. We hiked Bears Hump, Wall Lk, and Red Rocks. We did the boat ride to Goat Haunt. We had spectacular weather and even better memories! Love Waterton. Would go back in a heartbeat.

It is a 9 km trail with +370m elevation for 5 km followed by a -370 descent for 4 km, which is medium difficulty. Walking uphill (+200/300m) for 3-5km several times will prepare you.
