This is a great video! Thank you for uploading such AMAZING content for IMG's. I had a question: When is a right time to initiate the conversation of advance care planning? I believe the patient's mental state and physical condition can severely effect what they choose. How often do you re-dicuss the advanced care planning to ensure that the decision that the patient made is still as per their wish?

Hi Dr Munoz! Thanks for the content! I am a soon to be PGY2 FM resident in an unopposed program which is heavy in inpatient. I am planning to work as a Hospitalist. How do you see the market for FM physicians that wants to work as hospitalists? Was it easy for you to find a job for a hospitalist position?

If you do academic medicine at big name programs like Harvard, would you eventually make more than someone who trained at a community hospital?

Hi, for you if you are applying from a different country other than the USA then at this point is very unlikely unless you have deep connections with doctors in the United States within academic programs or community residency programs that could take you but otherwise a hard path for you.

BLS. gov site has many different salaries listed by profession and area… where I live, pediatricians make 188k median… Forensic pathologists for the GBI (Gorgia equivalent to the FBI) make 250-275k… only 10 of them in the entire state though. The average pathologist locum pay is 75-105/hr. USA jobs website has pathology paying $140-$200 or so as a full time employee.
