If the objective is to fix all generators, why doesn't the killer just camp near one and wait?

Well, there 7 generators in a map and survivors have to fix 5 of them. Some killers what usually do is to patrol 3 generators the whole game so called "3 Gen Strat" but with that Strat if survivors are aware of what the killer is doing is pretty much giving 4 repaired gens for free, and then they have to split in 2 groups and target 2 different generators usually the ones with biggest distance from each other, with this strategy the Killer is unable to completely defend the generators as soon he is defending one the other survivors are working in the other one, Killers that do the 3 Gen Strat usually carry perks like Overcharge, Hex: Ruin, Etc... That the only goal is to make time consuming as possible to repair generator, I think 3 Gen Strat only could work with certain killers and if the Killer has killed at least 1 survivor, but overall a quite boring and not good Strat but it can work in low ranks or very uncoordinated survivors for sure.

0:01, 7:13 I always get those huntress hatchets, in the shack doing gen then a space-time portal opens up and a hatchet hits me in the forehead when the huntress is on the other side of the map facing away from shack chasing another survivor. I wonder when the dev's are going to fix those garbage hitboxes.
