The narrator is wrong. People in the Catholic faith were never asked by priests etc to worship saints. Yes, pray to them so they can interceed and help people with issues in God and Jesus name. Catholics are taught only to worship God. You can tell the narrotor is not Catholic or she would not have made such a huge mistake in her belief. It is what a lot of non Catholics believe about Catholics. It is a big part of the Catholic religion that we only worship God. It does not help when a narrator of a historical documentary series states the opposite as so many will think it is 100% truth that Catholics worship saints.

Thank you very much :) Please check out moving-gardens.com/index/ . It's been going for 14 years and I recently decided to start putting all its content on to KZfaq, but I'm only about half way through. As well as being much, much easier to navigate there's also links to download the shows from Filefactory - which means you can watch them on your device without them being subjected to KZfaqs compression algorithms

As a 16 year old lad back in 1984, I watched this and recorded it on VHS (which I still have today in my loft). This was such an inspirational documentary for me and influenced me throughout my life. Wherever I have lived, I’ve tried to use some inspiration from this film. I’m currently in the process of purchasing some “extra” garden (390 metres square) to the side of my current garden, where I can finally, at the age of 56, make my dream a reality by following Chris’s ideas to the full.
@JD.Gardener21 күн бұрын
I'm incredibly jealous - I'm also 56, but don't have a garden. Possibly why I love programmes like this one so much.

Well, I was cheated! I grew Perpetual Carnations and had one to exhibit. We were told we were to exhibit 3 Perpetual carnations which I was the only competitor who had them and they changed it at the very last minute. Jonathan told us to 'cover the arch' which I was doing yet Rob didn't. It was fixed. I realise that now. They were working off a story board.

Thank you so much for posting this! I have been looking for this film for 2 years and was actually in talk with an archive to have it digitized for more money than I would like. Do you know if its complete? 39 min sound like a peculiar duration. I’m curious though, where did you find this? Thanks again!
@JD.Gardener3 ай бұрын
40 minutes seems like the right amount of time for an hour long slot on commercial TV - so there'd be a few ad breaks in it to bulk it out to an hour. I started collecting gardening/nature shows about 15 years ago, I honestly couldn't tell you where I grabbed it from now. If you register at Moving-gardens.com and find the post, there'll be a higher quality file (minus the heavy YT compression) of the show you can download from FileFactory.
