Hey thanks for the info! Gonna look into it tonight. I have the XU10 and still haven’t added cfw to it. I need to get that one out and maybe revisit both in a future video. Appreciate your input here. ✌️

@@OGTechNick I tried a couple of alternative CFW, and they are "better", I mean, you can setup a lot of things in AmberElec, for example, the only problem, is that the PSP performace decrease a lot (try first the 3.2 updated version of the Magic-X O.S. first, look for it in google typing "Magic-X github", or "XU10 Magic-X Github", for example). I don't really know what they did "internally" to the PPSSPP emulator, or the system files (maybe editing some system or PPSSPP files manually, or I don't know), but it is impossible to get the same performance with the same "quality" with other CFW in the XU10, no matter how you configure the PPSSPP emulator by yourself... you can't get the same performance... and you can't get the same performance with any other RK3326 handheld either (like the R36S, for example) 😭 You can "unlock" the options in Magic-X too with a "cheat", changing a couple of system files (getting them from an AmberElec release, and overwrintg the original ones, you can look for "the cheat" in google too)... but when I tried it, PPSSPP performance decrease a lot, the same than changing the CFW 😭. Sombody told me how to get the same performance using AmberElec in the XU10 (overwriting some file getting them from the Magic-X system), but I didn't underestood what he did... I don't find the files he says, i'll try to ask to him about it later again, in the forum he answered.

I agree. I love it. Since the 3326 chipset is great for PS1 and below for the most part, it’s just what I’m looking for in a retro handheld in regard to performance. Certain playable Dreamcast and PSP games are a nice bonus, but I’m not knocking the chipset for its limitations on the harder to emulate systems. When expectations are in check, the RK3326 is awesome.

Same. I recently picked up the Powkiddy v10 for $35. It plays everything I want so well. It blows my mind cuz just a few years ago I paid $40 for a v90 that has an F1C100S chip. Now for the same price or less we can get an RK3326.

I’m not 100% on that. I think they’re both hit and miss but I’ve heard that N64 is pretty hard to emulate, relatively speaking.

I still race the same way I did when I was 13. My neighbor always kicked my butt and I used to try to copy his technique. That muscle memory won’t go away even though it’s probably slowing me down. Lol.
