Has there been any studies to see if these chemicals are present in Maple Syrup?? I believe (??) Weyerhaeuser started using raw sludge on timberlands at least as early as the mid 1950s. In addition to these persistent toxic chemicals, micro plastics are also in the body system. IMO a study needs to be undertaken to assess the effects of these on the body's electrical system. Are synapses being "insulated" slowing or preventing electrical impulses from the brain? Thank you for the informative programs

Do aerosol Injections of nano-particulates (those creepy 2 to 3 hour lingering hazy sky trails, and not 'ice crystals' which dissipate in about 30 seconds) bioaccumulate and have a deleterious effect on the Web of Life at the microscopic level? namely; barium, strontium, and aluminum Is the soil being "electrified and is God Almighty's "CREATION" being modified into a grid of sorts to advance a technological "trans -organic" future? I'm in DIRIGO (Maine) and am working with a small piece of land. Thanks for your experienced insights and expertise! Probably a big "Nothing" burger...but, the skies are periodically covered with something that may just "Bee" effecting lifeforms under the guise of National Security. Who would want to acknowledge the staggering decline in Living Organisms oh yeah, since 1970 was it? Peace out and I'm humbly leaning as I go.

Thank you, a very enjoyable presentation. I'm especially happy to see York county highlighted, as we're rapidly losing viable agricultural lands to housing development. I definitely agree with Beckie that small and local is the future of sustainability. Curious as to efforts to support and sustain natural pollinators as a compliment no till efforts.

Glad I listened, even though I agree with less than half of her analysis. History of food might start with FDR and the Wickard V Filburn decision and the right of the individual being usurped by federal mandates (?) I can vividly recall the late 50s when my mother railed against homogenization of milk because breaking fat particles up so small they could not rise to the top meant more fat in the blood stream. Today, "NANO particles" in processed foods is officially GRAS, and it will be two generations before we recognize the consequences. Animals, while using more virtual water per pound, and requiring more acres per calory, serve more, or can serve more than just a source of meat protein. Through manure, they redistribute needed nitrogen and carbon. They help keep grasses down, thus keeping some insects at arm's length, so to speak. Some can supply milk for cheese and butter, some eggs, others can be used as beasts of burden. To malign animal husbandry will only hurt the small farmer in the long run, as agribusiness always gets special legislative consideration and can afford periodic "taxes". IMO. When it comes to climatic changes, look at the Milankovitch cycle and Gleissberg cycle of the sun. We are on the doorstep of a grand solar minimum and the real challenge to society, or what will be left of it, may well be living without electricity or petroleum fuels. A TRUE democracy is what our founders fought strenuously to avoid. Equality is STARTING equal, not all crossing the finish line together. It is the promise of achieving and enjoying greater rewards that lead to human innovation and effort. To redistribute wealth because of a majority vote is NOT a democratic pride badge. I'm not a constitutional scholar, but in the House of Bourgeois, leading up to the constitutional convention, the phrase "common defense and general welfare" was used as a single phrase to indicate protection from foreign attack (common defense), and internal protection from highwaymen and river pirates (general welfare) ... Work houses and poor farms were common facilities as well as orphanages for the abandoned and destitute. Empathy has little to do with governance, though empathy is important. Empathy is a great thing, one displayed by many species and SHOULD be taught to our young and practiced by the elders, even if under a monarchy or dictatorship. Anyone believing humans are only species to display organized cooperation in action has never observed terns on the wing, or geese in migration or a herd of buffalo. A shame. I dislike being so negative, as I do believe her desires are in the right direction. Also, her unease at public speaking may have detracted from the message (?)... Helping the needy is altruistic, but should not be done without some form of reciprocity. No farmer wants to sprout seeds in February and March, set them and care for them all growing season, only to have a popular vote strip him of the fruits of his labor come harvest. Glad I watched... and my comments are only an opinion, not meant to be spiteful. We need fewer laws, not more restrictive or more inclusive ones. 🙏❤️
