I dnt think he's bitter about fame. I think he expected more recognition from Dave for introducing him to Nirvana by having him txt back when Buzz wrote him. Dave's probably extremely busy cuz he is a successful musician (so's Buzz, but on a different level) and he called back when he found the time ( I think calling after taking a long time to reply is a sign of respect) but it was too late. Buzz was upset and he gave him a sarcastic answer Dave just went on with his life and he probably would see this video with surprise. At the end ai think they are both cool dudes and how many cool friends are ser a part by time? Too bad but it gave an entertaining story

Thats the thing with the melvins, they were so successful in being underground, alternative and anti mainstream, however their songs just were not that good. Its almost like u had to give them a listen and pretend to be into their music because they were veterans of the seattle, nirvana and grunge scene, otherwise you would not be appreciated or accepted. Most people in the audience are only there because of buzz's links to and relation with kurt cobain and nirvana.

I'm not a fan of Grohl, but I think deep down Buzzo does resent many of those bands/players he knew who got big while he was relegated to a 'godfather' role and not being known by the general public. He talks a lot about how that's not what he wanted, but you can tell he's insecure about it.
