Hi, Ben! Is this a new book or a re-posting of an old video? Old video, right? More videos, please. People need to learn about what's in your dome!

So many early TV shows felt they had to place less attractive kids alongside the star!

This never made sense to me. He is a super soldier so why would you waste that doing these shows?

A: The Colonel wanted to do more tests on him. Makes sense that if you have only one specimen, you'd want to study him to see if you can make more copies instead of sending him off potentially to get sniped on his first day. He was never going to be on the field anytime soon. But Cap didn't want to be a lab rat, so the Senator offered to keep him out of the lab by letting him be a dancing monkey instead. Does sound a lot better than being prodded and poked. B: We in the modern world are used to the idea of one-man armies in movies and games, individuals of great skill and prowess and talent mowing through enemies with great success, characters like John Wick, Rambo, Master Chief. But not only does this ideal not really work in the real world (last I checked), this is in the middle of WWII. The Colonel and the Senator may have very limited exposure to this sort of idea, even though by then elite spec ops were a thing. Hell Cap was described as the world's first superhero by Agent Coulson in Avengers 1, so it seems the world doesn't know what to do with a supersoldier. Meanwhile, Cap himself supposedly didn't fare that well in training (even if it was largely due to his physical limitations), and lets face it his chasing down of the Hydra agent, while demonstrating superhuman strength and speed, didn't quite showcase as much skill or refinement in terms of combat. Sending him into battle in the near future seems like a bad choice overall.

Wow it's hard to believe "someone" paid a laughable $13k for this copy back in 2007. Very nice! I haven't seen all your videos yet so I'm curious if you have any 1st series mystic comics, particularly the Destroyer covers? If so please make a video!

Hey art Boston. Yah $2500 a point in 2007 to $20k+ a point now. Crazy market. I don't have any Destroyer Mystic covers. Great run of books! Do you own any Timelys?

Hey Joe Cool, if a book is missing a non story page/ad, I would grade it a 1.0 FAIR, regardless of the eye appeal. CGC could give a green label and apparent grade but not missing ad page but I think they normally go blue label 1.0 and put "incomplete" in the label notes.

Let me ask you this, What is the highest grade a comic can get with a non story missing page? I have read CGC gave some books high grades with a missing page. Thanks for your time.............Joe.

Thanks John! Yup the best Dark Knight cover of all time. Most will agree. A Batman 227 will have to do for some folks. Thanks for watching! Looking forward to more of your vids.

You collection of GA books always amaze me! I thought you were just a regular Joe who collected nice Silver Age Marvels! I have learned that you are a savvy Timely and DC Golden Age collector! Man, I was fooled. Any idea what book you will focus on with the extra cash is this deal?

Thank you Steve but I am still a regular Joe regardless of the comics I own lol which is fine with me :). Yes, I have a downgrade 31 (which is still nice for grade) coming and working on a few others perhaps. Will keep you all posted in a video shortly. Thanks for watching and letting me share.

Yes it went cheap. Same seller had all those pre bats on ebay a few months ago too. I'm thinking the semi poor pictures and the loaded auction next week at Heritage may have affected the hammer price. It's all about timing :) I love the full date stamp on that ebay copy.
