Do you end up having to throw the bottle away at the end or we're you able to get the peppers a D stuff out so you could reuse? Or do they break down enough in the vinegar over time that they come out easily? Thanks for all the great videos.

To me the meat looks over cooked & dry. If I do decide to make some pernil , I will cook it lower & slower & check the internal temperature as a guide - not the crispness of the skin. I prefer skin that’s not TOO crispy and that has some pieces that are still a little soft. Those pieces can be even more delicious! However there are a LOT of good tips & recommendations in this video that I really like. I learned to make pernil from my mother-in-law many years ago. Her recipe is delicious, but some of the tips I learned here will probably make it even better! So overall, thank you very much for sharing this recipe with us!

This is what I was looking for, an easy recipe, my mother used to make this for us, mostly on sundays, Lord I miss her, anyway, will try this, but would like to only use a lb of meet instead of 2, since i'm trying this out for the 1st time this way, would you suggest using 2 cups of water?
