in india govt takes 28% GST/ VAT on Air condition products, it's costly to buy it for average person, even that is ok, then there is big energy bill. in usa you got 0.5 ton widow ac for like 150-180 usd, in india only 1 ton options available, the price is 450-500 usd, mostly split ac. the heat is 42 C.

We have an old whirlpool unit similar to this one and I only turn it a few times a year when it gets over 100. But it’s so old and it’s never been maintained that I’m worrying it’s going to eventually die. I’d love to figure out how to take care of it. It’s noisy, but cools things down nicely. Sounds exactly like the one in the video. lol :)

I had the lowest end, the 7000 for 6 or 7 years, used a lot. It rusted apart so bad that rust was getting into the detergent dispenser and staining clothes. It also had failing bearings, pump, and fill valve.

Sorry, I never made a video. But try cleaning the outdoor coil. But a can of coil cleaner and let the foam sit there for about 10 minutes and then rinse it. Make sure that the evaporator coil is clean too and has a good filter.

Removing top fan cleaning inside coils and outside coils and evaporator coil which you did and watching entire outside unit with soap and water now that's how it's done if I hired you that's the way they do my and the one you cleaned is exactly like mine except mine is only 3 years old .
@TylerHVAC
@TylerHVAC Ай бұрын
I'll take that as a compliment. We just moved here and I didn't have my coil cleaner so this didn't really get done properly. But I'm just a 13 year old trying to take care of stuff my parents pay for...that goes for just about every appliance in the house. Sucks but I don't mind doing it.

The cover of the blower was taken off when new capacitors were installed. If there was something to be cleaned on it I would have got it on video. Isn't that what maintenance is??? I'm not just cleaning but I'm making sure the unit was running perfectly. Everything was checked. Even the refrigerant pressure was checked.

Not sure, these units have a hard time building head pressure. Mine takes 20 mins for the entire coil to get cold. I'll make video about these bc apparently people are having problems with them.

You think? That was kind of the point; to see what this washer can handle and this washer washed these clothes perfectly fine. This is a heavy duty machine, if it has washed stuff like this it's entire life why go easy on it now. Idk about you but, I take care of my machines. I make sure everything is cleaned properly and maintained. As long as I do that I'm more than positive this washer will do just about anything. If you have any cycle requests to prove this just tell me.

Yeah the capacitor is trash, but the condenser moves a lot of air. There's no dead spots where no air is coming out and ok can see light through it.
