@@TheFirstTimers 12 years, so what youre saying your first time was to buy one of every vendor on the water, do you remeber the issues they had with all the vendors?
@TheFirstTimers10 күн бұрын
Was here 2009-2014 and then again 2022-current. We are new to boating and to crab island as of last year. The premise of the video was the first time we bought things from the vendors, because it was in fact the first time we bought things from the vendors. We plan on going out again because there are more new vendors that we have never checked out before. From our perspective everyone we encountered was very nice and respectful, but I am sorry you had a bad experience.

We stayed there in may an absolutely loved it. So many things nearby to do. Only downside is the lack of trees. And the spotty wifi coverage. You didn’t mention the miles and miles of trails. They are paved and there are wooden boardwalks over the swamp areas. Also they have a bicycle loaner program where you can use a bike for free for 3 hrs at a time. It is a HUGE state park with almost 500 campsites. Already have ours reserved for next april.

We tried to get out to the trails but the weather just didn’t cooperate for us. we will have to check them out next time. The bike program is really awesome.

When they start making them things using a 62 quart ice chest and a little bit larger one like 120 quart ice chest with bigger, and. More powerful fans, and more ice, then things will really start cooling down inside the travel trailers, the back of pickups, and car cabs and pick up cabs

I did not buy this item to cool any areas, but for when I lose power during spring/summer storms in N Texas. I turned off my home AC, and just ran it blowing on me sitting in my chair as if I lost power. And I have to say it is perfect for this purpose. I don't expect something like this to cool a room, or RV space, I just want it to cool me, and I see having it as a plus...Thanks for the video though...

I have the Ultimate and I’ll tell anyone that the mister that comes attached to it is the game changer. If you had a unit with a mist attachment your garage/workout room would significantly cool down. The mist can reach a larger area and with that cold water it dramatically lowers the temperature to anything it touches.

Loved this review! I appreciate it because I would be PO'd spending that kinda money and it didn't do a significant change in temp inside a medium space. But I do admit I still am considering purchasing this because I don't like going anywhere outside in summer but maybe this might help if I really do want to go outside. I'm in TN so this humidity on top of 99 degrees is a killer, I want to go to the state fair this year but in August at this temperature and humidty has me running for the hills.
@TheFirstTimersАй бұрын
We really think that it would be helpful out doors if it is blowing on you directly. It does kick out some cold but focused air. While it wasn’t great at cooling off large spaces, we do see it useful for things like sitting at an outdoor concert or at the beach. Also, we are 100% not sponsored or affiliated…just FYI.
@MakeLifeExtraordinaryАй бұрын
For $300, you can get a 9000 btu 110v portable air conditioner.. they even make a portable now that runs off of its own battery packs, sort of like a Ryobi. Which would be much more convenient in this situation, where you need it for compact spaces. Which you could vent out of a car or truck window or the window of a RV. Not to mention, take it with you wherever you go. With the only caveat being, you need somewhere to plug it in. But you can plug it into a battery pack and be fine for many hours. Especially if you have solar or a vehicle to charge that battery pack.. which would make it great for comfortable camping. For which I’ve seen people use them. I just think at $300, you’re buying a glorified ice chest with a fan, which you could easily make yourself for pennies on the dollar.. Depending on your temperature, you’re going to be needing to change out that ice quite frequently. You could buy a nice large cooler, for $50 and cut a hole in it and get a decent fan to glue into it… That a battery pack could charge for days, not a week or more. Depending on the power draw. So altogether, you might spend $50-$70 for the cooler and fan, you could get a power pack for $100 that would suit this situation just fine. Saving half of the money and making it better than the store-bought. I guess it just really depends on the person and the situation. But I think there are much better solutions than $300 for something like this. Especially for convenience in hotter situations where the ice may melt really fast. Where are you would have to constantly be feeding it ice and draining it. Which may be very inconvenient depending on the situation.
@TheFirstTimersАй бұрын
Valid points, we aren’t sponsored and just wanted to give our own perspective based on temperature and humidity changes in various sized spaces in extreme conditions.

One of the key factors is it’s completely portable being 12v battery operated.

Great video. I am trying to cool down a small bedroom/office space that does not have a way to exhaust warm air out (sliding glass door only), in addition also cool down a 2 car garage gym. Live in central Florida so humidity is a big thing. Any solutions you found useful for either of these scenarios? Would a swamp cooler work for the garage? Any suggestions appreciated.
@TheFirstTimersАй бұрын
I think this may be a good option for the small bedroom, the only issue I see is dealing with the cooler full of water. I don’t feel like it was very effective for our garage. We were really hoping that this would be a good option for our garage gym, but it just wasn’t suitable for that application.
