Wow, so nice to see Saginaw Grant! I had a chance to meet him with my uncle, niece and daughter at a local Phoenix Gourd dance where he was honored along with other Native Veterans. This particular meeting was especially important as we are related to him through my grandmother, Lydia Grant, as they are first cousins. It will always be a beautiful family memory to meet another member of my Sac and Fox family. To be able to create these connections and allow my children to learn and hear the stories, songs and lessons celebrating family and raising awareness of native issues is so precious! 💜🙏💜

No more stolen sisters...as I watch your video again, I am so grateful to see and hear the testimony, strength and prayers for an issue which needs to be shared in order to protect, prevent and to seek justice for our women who have been taken from their families, from their tribes and from us. My heart was so heavy as my family and I walked in the march, but I was also so proud as a Native women & a Native mother to be a part of such an historical and crucial gathering of Native people who stood side by side to bring awareness & healing to the #MMIW issue. It was so beautiful to see my daughters, nieces and sister wearing traditional clothing to show our support & offering our prayers asking for the protection, healing and justice for our Native people. It is so special to be able to see my family documented in your video for an event which will always be an amazing family memory and we will continue to march for the #MMIW because there should be no more stolen sisters ever again. Thank you for including us in your video!! It was beautifully made and I really appreciate all your hard work & dedication to bringing awareness to #MMIW and Native issues. 💜🙏💜
