There is no corner bead. What kind of strength do the outside corners have?

Strength and rigidity is achieved with the hardening of glue on the underside. The corner is installed as one piece and grooved to achieve a perfect angle (mud/bead is not needed at the corner). This makes the corner strong, straight and sharp. If reinforcement is still a concern, a metal reinforcement strip may be placed on the underside with the glue. All strength is achieved on the underside making the corner flawless.
