Look at that bench press, none of this control the negative/eccentric malarkey- yet the best chest we've ever seen 🤔

I think Mike Mentzer was a lot like Arnold (handsome guy, aesthetic but big enough physique) at a time when Bodybuilding was peaking in popularity so he expected some good things in his future and when politicking by Arnold and his hollywood and ifbb friends put the breaks on his career, he took it very hard.

I heard someone once say that if you enjoy going to the gym, then you're not working out properly. Imo, if you don't enjoy it, you won't keep doing it unless you're forced to, so when you go to the gym, try to enjoy your time there. You're gong there to make yourself stronger, after all, not to make yourself miserable.

When you say "I want success" You should understand you are saying the world should cooperate with my intent. Socializing is on the top position when it comes to becoming successful. Unfortunate and heartbreaking to see what happens when true talent becomes the social outcast of a community which simply denies you what you deserve.

While chest and biceps will always be Arnold's signature body parts.. i feel like he never gets enough credit for his back development, especially given the era

Leg press, hack squats, leg extensions, etc have a place in training. But nothing builds mental resilience and strength like going max effort on a set of squats

Saludos
