Do any of The Brashears still sing? I met them in 1983 when I was with The Concords from Sheridan Arkansas...we sang with them at a church... loved their group and was wondering how I could perhaps get a CD or so of there music during that time frame.

3751 must have the loudest bell I have ever heard. You could hear that bell ringing from about 1/2 mile away.

My parents and I saw the Watchmen Quartet back in the mid-70s, but I was too young to remember it. My dad bought one of their LPs and we used to play it quite often when I was a boy. I still enjoy their version of "Beautiful City of Gold." That's a difficult song to find anywhere, and the Watchmen Quartet version is still the best I'm aware of.

@Nytrouse i agreee D scalee is really easy to play fast ^_^ i as well play flute this is my 3rd year and i have to learn picolo or how ever you spell it for a song ^_^

@OhSweetOz D major is quite probably the easiest scale to play fast, if you ask me. -4th year male flute ;D

There's something special about the sight and sound of a big loco working hard up the grade into the night. Talk about "Mystery Train" - turning the clocks back over 60 years.

I go to Valley Forge Military College and I have to play this for chapel if anyone knows where I can find just the piccolo part, that'd be a huge help! I can't hear the pic over the band in some parts.

@picark yea. same here. i play piccolo better than i play flute.

@picark sooo true, I like to say that all violin players should be expected to be able to play viola, like a flute player is expected to know piccolo. ....course I personally don't mind I really love the two instruments and their different colors and characters
