You can dye fabric with colours you like very easily: if you have watercolours (cheap ones will do), you can paint the fabric yourself and it dries really fast, because, well, watercolours dry quickly. Of course, you can also rust, coffee or tea dye fabric. There are amazing techniques you can watch on KZfaq. Rust dye may give you such an amazing orangy colour and coffee and tea (coffee having a darker effect) have the neutral colour you love so much 🤎🧡💛🤎🧡💛🤎🧡💛🤎🧡💛 (I answered your question about my crochet book, I don’t know if you saw it. Kate they are Inktense by Derwent, originally as pencils, now also as sticks and pans. Vibrant colours and permanent once dry. Still loving the vibrant colours. 🎨🪡🧵🫶🏼

I love your organic stitching Kate and will enjoy seeing what you come up with now. This is my sixth volume with the lovely Roxy girls and I find every time that it takes me a few goes to get into the swing of it. Sometimes I go right off task. (I made a concertina book for Volume 3). It’s great to be able to shift and move with your own personal journey. There’s no rules 😊 except slow stitching. Even last volume I added machine stitching cos I was having trouble with my hands. Most important is the community ❤❤❤
