I’ve looked up pics and large locating pins are electrical connection so as I suggest use these for heavy load , + and neg

I’m assuming the big brass guides have connection on them , as a sparks I would use these for the power + and neg , the others would have lighter load , also the big pins would be guiding small pins in correct position, I would use these 😇😇😇😇😇

Ian an older guy living in Australia my story is too long to talk about right now but age and experience has told me buyer beware I was starting to fall in love with these little roadsters until I came here the mx5 is an extraordinary lil car in many ways but engineers and sales people are good at designing a product and the latter getting them out the door I will never buy mx5 this old as I have had my guts full off former stories still hanging about with restorations gone wrong due to uncruplious repairers and restoration places making promises they could possibly never keep... Back to mx5 I was noticing even on the new models their water traps dirt and water equal rust and people who know nothing about looking after cars should never be allowed to be loose near anything more then an open can off soft drink any car you buy do yourself a favour and save twice the cars price as your going to need that cash soon enough I have found no matter how good a car is realise this the designers and sales people don't care once the car is sold. why should a well designed car have places on it that pool with water and dirt essp place you cannot get to so you can clear the dirt and allow the water to clear away dirt and water traps in the mx5 seem to be par for the course Ian feeling pretty disappointed now but glad I found this video I was more so going to be a new buyer and I might not have seen many off the problems we are seeing here I think I may now have to reconsider my decision now .....

I believe all the 1.8L engines are non-interference. Maybe what you guys in the UK are getting are not that engine.

I agree with you.The capacity controller works like a fuel gauge in your car.The voltage alarm only gives voltage readings of each cell. But,it's good as a low voltage alarm in the model.

The guy's a hack. You'll probably find that dipole isn't even resonant, and it looks like he's just used a ferrite bead to address the balanced to unbalanced feed. I bet the ferrite is cheap crap and not even the right mix for the desired frequency, and an insufficient choke anyway. Then there's the impedance matching.

I commented on his YT channel, he was apparently giving a lesson on SWR, and it was completely wrong. I commented a couple of times about this misinformation, and he was nothing but rude and obnoxious. He wouldn't take on board the fact that he was in the wrong but began by saying how many patents he has and that what have I done, that I'll never amount to anything and to go play on the train tracks. He's nothing but a bully, and he clearly doesn't know anything about RF, he's a complete A hole. Everyone should know about this arrogant piece of work, I wouldn't give him the time of day, let alone purchase anything from him.

Unfortunately I’ve made that same mistake several times, lol. Thankfully, I’ve only had one. And that is why you ALWAYS have a battery bag right next to you. That way if worst come to worse, you can shove the unstable batteries inside the battery bag so you can get them outside.

I don’t undersrand how these batteries are more expensive than LiPo. The price for 4 of these is around 20€ while the 6s 10k mah batt is around 200€ which weights 1 kilogram.

Thank you Matthew! I absolutely appreciate all the work you've done on this 1.5 hour video. I think this is one of the best guides on buying a car I've ever seen. Normally I don't "like subscribe and bla-bla-bla" but this time I think it would be absolutely unfair not to do it. I hope your advice will help me soon. I'm from Russia myself (don't blame me on that) but I think all the guys telling British accent is hard to understand are talking bs cause this video proves otherwise despite I know there could be some issues with old school British accent) Everything was clear and helpful. Thank you once again. Love it!
