Question: is it safe to do thoracentesis if the pleural effusion is say 5cm but the lung tip gets close to pleural line at end inspiration? If yes, what can be done to mitigate risk of pneumothorax in this case? Edit: to be clear, I mean _only_ the lung tip gets close to pleural line/chest wall.

How do you adjust the Heater Cooler Temperature on the Cardiohelp? Is the temperature control on the cardiohelp console itself, or is there a separate heater/cooler with separate controls?

Compared with other method, this method is relatively simple and easy. Other catheter use dilator but this method is easy to learn. I want to know this catheter name! I will wait your fast answer!!

Sorry how you understand whwn youre in the pleural space? Theres the risk to go too deep. There are any standard measures or you just feel it in your hand?
