I lived in Ghana 5 years and watched uncountable movies from Ghana but honestly I've never seen that Nana woman speaking English in those movies and even in her numerous podcasts she uses 95% twi 5% English. She's pained she didn't really got offers from nollywood to feature. Talking about Sarkodie's song that lasted less than a minute in BB 9ja party, does she even knows that b4 a DJ starts spinning in any event that they've already selected and arranged their Playlist b4 coming on the event and if it's intentional that no Ghana songs will be played there the DJ would have completely deleted the Sarkodie song or Ghana songs from his Playlist b4 hitting the show. Sha most Ghanaians are so jealous of Nigerians that sometimes it doesn't allow them to think and evaluate b4 spewing out their hatred. An entertainment person like that has been around all these years should have known how DJs operates.

Roland it’s not always about paying or business for some. I’ve been to clubs and other events and paid for certain songs which was in sync with the tempo and style of music the djs were playing to be played but they declined. It’s happened not once but severally. I was even part of the organizing committee for my grad school’s graduation for Africans and African-Americans grad event and after party. There were similar experiences which I and some members had to push back to ensure a fair representation of preferences across board that most people wanted. So what she’s saying isn’t inaccurate. However, her actions in addressing it may not be effective or the best.
