I have a question. I have seen videos of the VT2 with tremolo arms that have the VT brand and some that don’t. Which one does the unit ship with and are the arms with no branding available?

Buy a piece of stainless rod in same diameter and use a die to thread both ends and place a 90* degree bend in it and presto you have a Whammy just the perfect Size, then all you need to do is adapt a tip and the Receiver for bar you already have, that or cut off the vt and place it in a vise and straighten it out

In April 2024 I ordered a Modern from Next Gen Musical in Nepean, ON before I found out there were two versions, but it fits my MIM Standard Tele just fine. My cost was $402.44 CDN, HST included and free shipping. $540 is wishful thinking for the seller. I have yet to set it the action and intonation and tension but it looks good. It only does down tune, no pulling up, but I have a Les Paul Tribute with a Duesenberg Les Trem II for that 😀

Any time I look on the website for left handed models it always says out of stock. Will they ever come back ?

I don't see in the installation part of the video where you deal with screwing in the vega piece onto the body. Does it just fit into the existing trem holes? Or do you need to drill/perform modifications?

Thanksalot for this! Been looking at the Dakota Red Squier 40th Anniversary Tele to mod up a bit and this looks ideal. I'm not dive-bombing but I do like having the stock Strat Trem and adding this to the Tele makes a lot of sense to me. Cheers!

I did my first show with my strat equipped with a Vegatrem yesterday evening and even without any locking tuner I didn’t have any need to tune the guitar for the entire night

I've seen a lot of guitar players install a Vega Trem on their Strats and like Tom, have either a roller nut and/or locking tuners.
