your channel is a scam there isnt any scam in all this video you are a belgian self-conscious youtuber… Armenia is so full of honest and kind people, maybe you are used to Brussels :)

I understand why you used the word ‘scam’, as it’s a classic word to entice viewers, but not only is it misleading, it also gives a bad impression of Armenia to anyone who doesn’t watch all the way through to 18+ minutes. Especially now, 10 months after the video has been posted, I’d lightly suggest considering changing the title to something more positive (if you enjoyed your experience in Armenia, which it seems you did). The title alone might be enough to ward off people from even considering visiting this wonderful, safe and special country. Anyway, nice video and all the best 👍🇦🇲

As a local, I can appreciate your video, very nice! Imho you probably had the best experience of all the passengers! Doesnt get more down to earth than that. The beach you visited North Friars Bay is on the Atlantic side and known for dangerous rip tides. I have never swam there in all my life.

The next time you visit Podgorica, I advise you to try popek instead of burek. Of course, Montenegro offers much more than you had the chance to visit, such as the sea and mountains with incredible views!

Thank you for visiting Armenia! One note, we were part of Soviet Union, but we are much more than that. I think you just showed Armenia, like just another Soviet country, basically Russia. Matryoshka, Kvas etc is not even Armenian, we were occupied by Soviets and it obviously it influenced our culture, but plese stop pointing it out every now and then.

"Is there only pomegranate juice?" Next to you was literally a big sign showing all other juices. And no, you were not scammed, the price for 1 pimegranate juice is really 4000 AMD. Thats why I stopped buying them. In 2023 it was 3000, in 2021 it was 2000. There is no pricing strategy in these type of shops.

You are addressing it as "scam" as if it is so common around Yerevan, while I understand it is clickbait for your video, and it is something outrageous for you which you had encountered, it only leaves a false impression on people who have no idea about the safety or trustworthiness of such a small country. If you said "beware of this scam in Paris, France," nobody would really care about the scam and the reputation of the country. But in Armenia's case, it (the thumbnail) might have played a role, as people might not have even clicked on your video, but memorized something unpleasant... Although, I also noticed you have another video titled as "everyone must visit Yerevan, Armenia." Regardless, it felt like as if nothing else mattered for you in your video, but the "scam." And also an advice from me as an experienced traveler, always check prices before you make a purchase.

In my case I'm happy this is the only "scam" he could come up with and feel safer traveling to Yerevan 😉

Hello Maarten, the first statue belongs to Chingis Aitmatov who was a renowned Kyrgyz author known for his lyrical writing about Central Asian culture and human resilience. He studied in Moscow and wrote deeply emotional stories exploring themes like cultural identity and the human-nature relationship. His work remains highly regarded globally.

Whatever you see in so called Armenia are build after they were settled in Irevan khanate, Western Azerbaijan by Russia. All Azerbaijanis were forced to leave and their historical heritages were destroyed and these buildings were build on them. Only Blue Mosque remains and they represent it as a Iranian mosque... The old churches are Albanian heritage and no connection to current Armenia
