What does it idel at because my one idels at 200 then dies i don’t know why and how did you make it sound like that on idel

How did you start in a boat. I v never seen a choke control....... it could be a long way from the instruments to the engine!! I'm sure there was no auto choke on those days??

Beautiful rebuilt. I've got a question about the cooling system. On my boat (wich also has a AQ130) the cooling tube that runs to the oil filter (the one beneath the Volvo Penta logo on the exhaust) has come loose. I haven't got a clue how to connect it again, there's no thread on the tube and no screws or slip-on flanges. Could you tell me how to connect them? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I am rebuilding the same engine. I was able to use Volvo B20 engine rings and some gaskets. This same engine was used in the Volvo Amazon car from late 60s to early 70s. The real expensive parts are the water pump, alternater, and starter because they are Marine quality. The thermostat is 80 dollars alone!

Great Job on that rebuild. I have to do the same with my twinn engines of that exact model/make. I only hope my rebuilds will be almost as good as your. Any tips for me?
