I am very disappointed by Indian judiciary which has almost no respect for personal liberty of persons/citizens and rejects even release on bail of accused. If the accused is deemed mischievous or may try to falsify records or tamper evidence, etc. then some strict conditions could be imposed. But this sort of detention without trial for long months and years is very bad, and certainly affects the arrangements for defence by accused quite adversely. It seems the judiciary is in the mindset of 'Lords' even now.

EC or Polling Officer should not have declared the Surat seat in favour of anybody since NOTA should also be treated as a candidate. I admit this is a dark area where much light needs to be thrown but my construction is the best in circumstances I believe.
