Hey Phoebe! I actually ate at this restaurant for my birthday in 2019 and it was so beautiful and the princesses were so nice. If I ever get my nieces and nephew down to WDW, I’m definitely buying them the brunch there. Glad you had a great experience. Also, that’s so cool that you’re going to Jollywood Nights night one. It would be the best night ever if I meet you. Your outfit last year was so cute.

Wonderful video as always! I last dined at Akershus back in 2018 or 19. I think I may prefer the old food format better... I enjoyed the buffet they had for the pre-entrée. We do not do character dining often, but the next time we do I think we'll need to invite you to be our guest... you are a natural at interacting with the characters. 😀

I remember when we ate at Akershus way back in the early 90s. It was a buffet back then as well, but no characters. As far as I remember from the early 90s, the only character meals were Chef Mickey and King Stefan's Royal Dinner in the castle. I think. But back then all of the foods were authentic Norwegian foods. I'm talking the stuff that most Americans do not eat. I tried most everything and I liked a lot of it. Can't remember not one item from that time frame though. I'm not sure that I would do that buffet now since it has changed so much from when we did eat there.

This place was so much better before the expensive character dining. Like to see a little less of this in parks. Bring back the original restaurant.

We ate there way back in the day and it was a buffet with a lot of smoked fish. I can see why they got away from that to appeal to wider tastes. Lovely princesses!

One thing im not a fan of is how the animatronics arent working right, the luis animatronic from the beginning and tiana in the ending werent working right with their heads only moving and their bodies being completely frozen.

Great vlog Phoebe! I've been waiting for someone who grew up with The Princess and the Frog to weigh in on Tiana's Bayou Adventure. I think too many of the early critics were from people who came up with Splash Mountain and the nostalgia biased them against the change. This seems substantially more polished than in previews as well. I love that IP and have never seen Song of the South so I don't have any connection to it. Can't wait to ride it now. Also, your take on the food was appreciated. as a Disneylander, I love the food at Tiana's restaurant in New Orleans Square. If you come out west, you'll definitely get your gumbo with rice (as it should be ;) )

I’m so excited to go on Tiana’s a second time. I’d got on just after the giant opening day storm passed and the whole thing was so much fun but such a blur. Hopefully the boarding groups aren’t as chaotic to grab now that it’s been a while
