Ha ha! We never even thought of zombies back then! This was simply a reaction against all the OH SO MEANINGFUL high-art literature we were force-fed in A.P. English classes! We were so sick of metaphors and foreshadowings and Christ Figures and BORING stories with deee-e-e-eeep-meaning, that we decided to make a movie that would SEEM like it was "going somewhere", but actually didn't make any sense at all! All just... silly!
