Aint no way, I saw some guy doing t4 enderman carries and I added him on discord, he invited me to a discord server and that very verifie thing was in the server, luckily my IQ was over 50 and I was smart enough to realize they were trying to get my information. The guy said he wanted my mc name and gmail to avoid me scamming him which is stupid cuz the complete oppiset is going on lol.

Easiest solution: Make a sell price limit at like 5 times the average price of the last month updating every day at midnight. This shouldn't be hard at all.

The problem with doing this nowadays is that they can actually frame you for "scamming" someone then have their customers mass-report you, ending up with you getting banned.

Unfortunately I lost my account to this scam. Stupidity on my part the code should've been a HUGE red flag. Microsoft won't do anything to recover it as it violates the TOS as well.

About two years ago someone used one of those scams on me in minemen. They said that if I beat them in a boxing match (ingame) I will win a free lunar cosmetic and that this was for a video. I won (they were probably going easy on me) they said to add them on discord so I did. I said what lunar cosmetic I wanted they them sent me their channel link and a saw their channel was fairly new, had like 80 subs, and one video. They then said for me to give them their email. I had two emails one was my dads but I used for minecraft and another one was my personal email which was not connected to my mc account. So not using my brain I gave them my person email and thank god I did. They then said a confirmation code was being sent to my emaiI and that It was so he could get me the lunar cosmetic then for some reason I coundn't get an email on a confirmation code so I used one from like 5 days ago not using common sense. They then sent me some fake screen shot as proof of me being gifted the lunar cosmetic. I then noticed I don't have the cosmetic so I sent a message to him but noticed he had blocked me. After that I had suspicion it was a scam but nothing was done to my account or email but now after watching this video I know I almost got scammed. I never knew snot using common sense would save me from getting my microsoft account hacked.

I have an idea for a pretty simple bz fix, make it so "instabuy" works differently, have it so when you instabuy something it just creates a buy order at instabuy price and instantly fills it but has the option to cancel the order or claim the order, this would require 1 additional click on the buyers end but would solve basically all of these types of scams, another alternative is players should just be more careful and not fall for simple scams like these

hypixel should add something to prevent this, isnt only ''just check the price''
