There was an energy to the late sixties and early seventies that hasn't been felt since.

Terry Kath is an amazing guitar player somewhere. I don't think Jimi Hendrix could play that good. I believe Jimi said so.

Have so many memories of my childhood. I was a little girl and my brothers use to play this for my father. I grew up listening to Rock in my house. All was about 12 in the late 70’d. Seen Chicago a few times in my city. I love this band a lot. ❤

I was reading on Wikipedia about Chicago (the band). In terms of money earned over their history, they made baskets of $$$ and have won many awards over their lifetime. In terms of artistic output, they were in fact great initially but after the Terry Kath era it was all down hill in my opinion. I went with my brother to see Chicago a few years ago. As you might imagine, the band was quite polished but stuck to the pop stuff that got so much airplay. The seemed to have a good guitar player but he was far back in the mix. Of course the audience loved them knowing their radio output. That was two hours of my life that I will never get back.
