Hello. Very good video. I am having trouble finding women's court shoes for pickleball. I have bunion on my left foot (big toe side) and a bone spur on the top of my right big toe joint. What options/styles would be the best for me. I appreciate any advice. Thank you!

I have developed a severe spinal deformity due to ankylosing spondylitis and a few other complications, which together have caused me to be unable to sleep in any position except sitting up in bed. So I have a bed wedge to lean against; however, this creates an additional painful problem with my neck as my pillow inevitably flattens or moves slightly from where I had put it before falling asleep … Therefore I’m looking for a travel pillow that will keep my neck supported throughout the night instead of allowing my head and neck to tip way backwards. My question about this travel pillow (any/all of the three trtl pillows) is can I put the plastic stabilizing part behind my neck, vs. on one side or the other of my neck? Every ad I see for the trtl pillows shows the stabilizer only on one side or the other of the model’s neck … Thanks in advance for any answers or suggestions you may have to offer, and be well!🥰🥰🥰

The TRTL can be used like you suggest, but you may feel like you are getting "choked" in the front of the neck. Have you considered a Pillowise custom fit pillow? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aLKGlNeB1d6RaaM.htmlsi=7S4UR1haB21fi_PT

@@PhysicalTherapyKS I hadn’t heard of the pillow you suggested before, but just by looking at it I think I would have exactly the same problem I have right now - which is that the pillow would either flatten or move out of place, leaving my neck unsupported and my head tipping WAY backward. If I could sleep flat, almost any pillow would work, including the one you suggested. But since I have to sleep sitting up against a wedge, it’s impossible to make a flat pillow stay where I need it for very long. 🥺🥺🥺

Thanks Great video. I consistently run into an issue not mentioned in the video with court shoes. I never can find a pair that does not have a ridiculous amount of curve with the toes directed upward. It believe it is messing with the phalangeal metatarsal joint, causing the bones to collide on the superior edge. So these shoes solve some problems, but cause other problems. I don't know why shoe manufacturers do not catch on to the problem of too much curve upward of the toe, & what joint issues that could cause???

Thanks for the video. Have you tried using that U shaped pillow with open part towards the back of your neck and the support under your chin? Might stop the head bob.
@JezzaN19 ай бұрын
I've been considering getting one for this exact reason - I do exactly what Cody mentioned re: head bobbing forward, jolting awake with sore neck etc. The 'legitimate' reviews of these pillows seems to be pretty hit or miss though, and they aren't overly cheap. Maybe i'll just have to bite the bullet and give it a go.
@You-are-right-but9 ай бұрын
@@JezzaN1 I bought a pillow recently. Typical horse-shoe shape. For each pillow I tested how stiff it was by squeezing it. I wore it, open end behind my neck, good support at the front and sides. Worked a treat on a 10 hour flight. Worth the $25. But there were many that were too soft and more expensive.

We will have to give it a try. look for a future video :)

@@PhysicalTherapyKSThanks, I realised a typo in my first comment. It should have read 'U shaped' not 'I shaped'. Corrected it now. Try it with the U shaped pillow, OPEN part at BACK Works perfectly.

For off the shelf insoles, we carry superfeet insoles here at our office, however what you are describing sounds like you likely need something more aggressive. Feel free to give us a call 316-558-8808, and with a quick conversation, we can direct you to the best solution.

When I was searching for relief of facial pain and finger numbness, I`ve stumbled upon this TMJ treatment. I further researched the cause of this discomfort and also to my surprise it was associated with TMJ. Last but not least, after 3 days of medication I`ve been free from severe headaches and facial pain. The guide I am talking about, I found it by Google. Name of it is Cora Tmjocυn

Unfortunately I am not in your area. I play pickleball about 4 times each week. I have plantar fasciitis in 1 foot and a bunion on the inside of the other foot. The bunion causes more pain for me. My podiatrist recommended running shoes which aren’t ideal. However they are the only Tahoe’s that don’t hurt my bunion while playing.

Melissa, that can be really frustrating! Feel free to contact us and perhaps we could do a virtual video consult to help you with this.

You pointed at the pain in the hip and also pain in the side of the knee. How about issues located in the middle from where you are pointing. For me It is an annoying dull ache in my outer left thigh. If I'm standing for too long it starts aching. I have to elevate my leg to ease the discomfort. My doctor says it's probably my IT band causing the problem. Anybody's pain/discomfort located in that area?
@missmayflower3 жыл бұрын
No. He pointed to where the IT band starts and ends. The pain is all the way down the outside of the thigh.
