I recently purchased a replacement shroud and noticed that when I screw down the shroud, it's too tight the bezel won't turn. Is this the case with your Tuna's shroud as well? I slightly loosened the screws, and the bezel turns, but I'm worried about the screws falling out since they're not all the way screwed down.

That’s not the case with the shroud shown in this video. I tightened the shroud and the bezel clicks nicely.

You can’t resize the bracelet by unscrewing one and then the other? Why both at the same time?

That’s because if you turn the screw at one end, the entire bar moves. You need both screw heads to be engaged for this purpose, hence my difficulty resizing this bracelet.

I own both, and while the 5610 is the best choice for a cheap beater, the 5000 is much better if you e.g. want to put a titanium bracelet on, as it has solid steel lugs instead of plastic.

The 5000, besides all that, just looks less busy and frankly, the epitome of a G-Shock square in build quality. It feels so nice for a minimalist G-Shock. Whether that means something to you or not is up to you.

I like that it has a screwback and the time appears in the date window if you do the stop watch, but I wouldn't pay $150 more for that.

I bought this watch because because of your review. My grail is a blue smooth bezel Datejust on an oyster but I can’t justify the prices. And this watch beats the DJ in terms of maintenance costs which are essentially zero, and I never need to touch the crown. It’s always ready. I adore it. Thanks for the great videos, Andy!

Great review! I believe this green is the same as on my new SPB103J Sumo, lovely looking green indeed. However I have ordered my Land Tortoise in the rose gold and brown colour 🙃

Yes but I like 22 mm straps but it is what it is 🙂 I was to buy king turtle srpe03 but it was justcto heavy this is why I picked that one .still king turtle looks better but just way to big and heavy.. I paid $480 for SRPH15K1 is good price in Sweden because here it always cost much more then in USA at least 40% more

Hey man, thanks for dropping by! I was also watching Ben’s video on the A700. It led to my purchase. But you know what? I’m actually quite underwhelmed by it so far. Can’t pinpoint why exactly but I suspect it is due to the mirror surface of the dial/face. As a result of the reflection, the watch almost never looks like what we see in promo photos or studio shots. I hope my full review will give you some alternate views of this model. Stay tuned.

The dial/face looks like it is black in this video due to the lighting condition. I guess the studio lights made it look like that. I’ll try to get some shots in natural light for the full review.

Nice collection of GW-B5600. I guess you will have added the new CD ones. But from the older models I would also recommend the AR, SGM and SGZ. Btw the black one is called the GW-B5600BC-1B: the gold one is GW-B5600BC-1.
