how should i properly learn a language, for me how my school only teaches spanish french and chinese, which i dont want to learn? I did try duolingo but i stopped early because it was barely doing anything, i learned more from some random guy on discord in 15 minutes than from 2 months of duolingo.

Yeah, Duolingo is more like a game where you learn a little just by chance. If you are serious about learning a language I would look for a full course online. I'm sure there's some good stuff out there.

I'm learning Russian from Duolingo and I've a 299 day streak so far. It was really fun at first, however in the long run I just realized that the grammar isn't correct, and that it got really boring because of continously repeating the sentences that I will probably never use in Russian. I'm going to quit on day 365.

Duolingo might be fun at first to get a glimpse of the basics but in a long run it's not an efficient tool to acquire vocabulary and develop pure linguistic skills. It lacks the element of learning things in a larger form and it doesn't force to focus on the language for a longer continuous interval of time. A lot of learning happens subconsciously by reading long texts, listening to podcast or watching moves in the target language but with Duolingo the knowledge is just scattered in the brain and it's not fluid, which makes it hard to remember the words and phrases at once, let alone speak in sentences.

I agree and disagree :D after my first year a friend asked say something in Chinese and only random words popped into my head. After two years same thing happened and I got surprised by myself that I was able to form a very basic sentence, but overall the whole course wont teach you a lot.

Why is there so many comments about tablets and ipads having swollen batteries, this makes me scared and uneasy now just hearing things about this happening to these devices because I own one (what I'm watching this video on right now) I don't believe it at all, because the tablet I have now is in good condition and it's perfectly sealed up and has nothing going on with the battery

I can relate to this video so much because this happened a couple of years ago, I think it was back in the summer of 2020 when one of my brothers gave me his old used Iphone 6 because he was getting a new upgraded phone, but the battery was completely dead and I couldn't use it yet till it got fixed, and I remember taking it to an electronics repair place and they put in a new battery and a brand new screen, everything was going ok with it for a little while but then a couple of months after having this Iphone, I noticed that it started coming apart on the side,the screen was popped out and this device would get really hot when it was charging and just randomly shut down at times, so I stopped using this Iphone because If I continued to use it, the battery could of exploded and there would of been further damage to this phone and some toxic gases and fumes being released, I was so upset and disappointed that I was given an old defective iphone and I wasn't told right away that something was wrong with it. It's like I literally got scammed with this broken phone even though someone in my family gave it to me 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡📱📱📱📱📱📱📱📱📱📱📱📱📱📱 And now I know to never buy or get used electronic devices from anybody because what ever it is whether it's a phone, an ipad or a laptop it could have a faulty battery or be seriously damaged

In general you need to have an exchange, where you have your KYC done and are able to do wire transfers. So, you would then sell your Stacks for Dollars.

I just realized i have 87 STX on my Blockchain! Which shows 230$ as balance at the time of typing this comment! Is there a new update on how to get the funds out. I have done my KYC on my Blockchain and i use it for all my main crypto transaction so i won't like to use Hiro. Any other suggestions?

Yes, "Blockchain" now supports STX, you can trade it as any other crypto on there.

Did you manage to sell these tokens? I can't sell them on blockchain wallet but when I went to send them to coinbase exchange it said transaction complete but the value of the tokens still remain in my blockchain wallet

@@christieKYYD Yes I was able to successfully send the token to my Binance and then converted it to BTC before selling! It was supper easy! If you have a Binance account you should try it!

Potentially all of society is the "artist." It's a combination of the engineers and mathematicians who created computers and neural networks, the programmers who created these generative models, the artists all over that the models were trained on, and the individual who input the prompt, without which any particular piece wouldn't exist. (And all the other specialized professions, from farmer to janitor, that allow these people to specialize themselves instead of spending all their effort on ensuring their survival and health).

That's the only feasible answer. The AI can't be the artist because it's not actually intelligent, we just call it that because companies shoved the term down our throats for it to sound fancy and make a profit out of it, but really, it's an statistical model, and these have been around for a very long time. People say the AI works like us at a lower level but that's just not true, these statistical models are designed as a simplification of a very outdated and very wrong idea we used to how of how our brains work, and even if it did work like how our brains work it would still need to have some random external processes affecting it on a deep level, cause chemicals like hormones do that to our brains, which separates us from any computer and gives us creativity. These statistical models are just that, a bunch of equations that regurgitate an output that's according to the data set it was trained on, is statistically probable to come after the output, that's how ChatGippity and Dall-E work, they don't think, they don't create, they just give you an average of the training set, an average weighted by probability. The person typing the stuff for the model isn't the artist either cause put it simply, they're just telling the machine a general idea of what to do, whereas someone with a pencil would be doing every single brush stroke with intent and vision, rather than typing something and hoping something good comes out the other end.

It's still art It's just an evolution of it. Nobody ever said that evolution was good or bad, but just progression towards something new It's still expresses something by someone thus it's still art. It's a HELL of a lot better than that money laundering modern art.

From one perspective, it cannot be considered art because the thing that generated it (the AI) didn't try to convey any ideas or emotions through the "artwork". From another, the AI was "inspired" by the person writing the prompt to make the artwork. In the near future, it will be necessary for us to define who or what made the artwork for copyright purposes among other things.
