Pukka video and some epic thorny gems. I would have to say Thorny is possible the best day ticket lake going the bailiffs are spot on and dave I believe he is the owner is a absolute gentleman. If you have never been you have to its just a epic place 🎣🎣🎣🎣👊

30-40 years ago i was catching chub to 6lb in the Darent, and also a carp to 16lb after some flooding. Across the horses field by the cricket pitch... Youll know where I mean. Great memories love popping back and boy has the river changed.

Sorry to say this but it’s a terrible bivvy. Material is so thin and cheap I can’t believe they are asking nearly £500 for this. I bought it, did 1 night in it and get rid of it 👎🏻 had the mk3 double top from Nash before which was and still is an awesome bivvy byt this Titan T1 is a joke.

Remember fishing Brooks way when it was the Broom wood lake years ago it fished better in the winter than in the summer thanks to the river Cray running through it, had loads of fish with many over the 20lb mark

Thank you, he was great wasn’t he. Harry doesn’t work for us, in fact he’s pursuing a career in the music industry. Hopefully we’ll get to film more fishing videos with him in the future 👍

Others could learn a thing or two from the guys at the tackle box. This is what carp fishing should be about. On KZfaq no hard sales just people enjoying fishing class guys

There was tunny fishing all around the UK up until, I believe, the 30s. But the pilchards, herring, sardines and mackeral were virtually fished out, so the tuna stopped coming. Great to see them back. AND protected.
@derekmay86793 ай бұрын
That was amazing 👏 🙌..Wow...The most amazing days fishing...Those guys on Wicked Tuna would do anything for days like that...Then to think that this was in England, just makes it all the more spectacular... It shows that British waters are now in a very good condition with apex predators being seen much more frequently... Great stuff... Was that Mevagissey by any chance? It looked familiar ish to me ...We saw some big sharks brought in there in the 70s,80s...

Thanks Derek. That’s exactly what we kept saying, you really do forget your in the UK when your out there. Yes, this was Mavegissy, absolutely beautiful it was. Would recommended the place and skipper to anyone looking to go.😁

I spent my childhood on the Darent . Horton Kirby , Franks Hall Eyensford . The fish were smaller in those days . Do you remember the fenced off property between Horton Kirby and the paper mill , The chub were wise to the sanctuary and used to come out in the early morning .. Oh wow, what wonderful memories . I moved to Scotland in 88 when I was 17 and have never been back . I used to be a member of DDAPS and fished Sutton at Hone , and used to go with my dad to Leisure Sports at Darenth.. Happy memories and all the smell of water mint on the bank . Thanks for the memories

I love my 8ft Darent Valley quiver, it has to be the most versatile, lovely action and beautiful looking rod I’ve seen, so much so I also have the 11ft 0.75lb for all my perch and roach float fishing. Such an awesome video, I’m glad I stumbled upon it.
