you cannot have a game of hockey and basketball on the same day and no one else does that. It makes the ice pretty crappy even playing a day away. Rams and Chargers have (similarish) colours because the two teams changed colours when they moved to LA. The only real change at Sofi comes in the field which is artificial. I will agree the naming is likely going to be Yeti for what you outlined. And the fact is a lot of people like it. It is a better sell for kids which I could see as a reason to do it (as would Mammoths)

I get the complaints about the weird layout and not being able to see the full ice but the Jumbotron is visible from every seat though right? So it's not like there's no way to see what's happening and get to be there in person.

Yeti? It would be a mammoth mistake to have that as the team's name. Legislation should be created that outlaws for our Utah hockey club. Unfortunately, there will be a blizzard of votes that will cause that name to be used. Yet, I did not vote for it.

You would think if they can come up with that logo, then picking a name and logo should only take a couple of weeks. I think they should just roll it all out before September.

Seattle's temporary logo was a red wordmark; other than the little eye in the S, they don't use red. I wouldn't read much into the colours of this supposed logo as the final branding, could be but easily may not be.

Outlaws is the only team name that works. Other acceptable names are Utah Swarm. No other names are acceptable. #blackdiamonds

if i can recall correctly, the coyotes were in a playoff position before the new year. Then relocation talks absolutely rattled them and they fell in the standings. The Utah hockey team should (at the very least) be a playoff team next year.
