"Oneness is boring.." this is the typical misunderstanding of Iskcon members and swamis and it stems from Prabhupads aversion to Advaita Vedanta and the lack of understanding of those in the dualistic paths. Who is Oneness boring too? if oneness is boring there must be someone experiencing it. and then its not oneness. its an ego conditioned identity who thinks oneness is boring. but if all there is is expansive infinite awareness. there is no one to be bored. how can infinity be bored with itself...

I think Krishna is saying to be in the mode of goodness with self and with rest and carry out our work,to be in the mode of goodness gain knowledge to deal with rest and in devotion with Krishna for self even one thinks in mode of goodness it is same as thinking of Krishna, Material desire should be full filled but not to get attached with material , if we remember Krishna then attachment will not happen but one gets joy
