Max depth for advanced recreational divers is 40m not 30m. You have to do the deep specialty.

Pushing that PO2 there a little bit. Also a little bit disappointed seeing your buddy on the rebreather sculling so much early in the dive. I'm planning on making some similar dives in December, though probably not quite so deep. I just want to get down into hammerhead territory.

Oof. I'm a nitrox diver, and watching that PO2 creep up past 1.4, and then 1.5, was really stressin' me out.

I thought it was dead too but in the flashlight beam you could see colors on the corals so they must be alive. Just no fan corals.

A lot of overfishing in this area, but it is the closest dive spot we can go easily, so for training dives we just go there.

I will never understand the purpose to go down at 100 meters, there is no wildlife to see. Most Wildlife is between 0 to 40 meters deep.

You got a lot of work to do before you go any deeper bud. Kicking, trim and vitally is gas management. But good job to there. Be safe and undertake some better training. Good luck

Is a 13/38 mix for 108m a good choise? I mean if you calculate the PPn2 10.8 * 49%n2 = 5,2 BAR of n2? shouldnt you feel the narcosis?

Some people also feel narcosis more than others. I've been down to 56m(5,148 BAR of n2) on air and been just fine.

So when using a rebreather you don't do a safety stops ?
@christophengovanduc2729
@christophengovanduc2729 3 жыл бұрын
You still have to do deco, a rebreather will not prevent that. The rebreather will just maintain the best mix for the depth you are at, so theoretically you will do less deco than an open circuit diver doing the same profile.
