'Inventor?' Please. A wheelbarrow, a hoover, a hair dryer and hair straighteners. He is many great things but the word 'inventor' really needs to be reserved for people who actually invent something. Right? Let's just call him a businessman shall we.

How much sooner can the family friendly cable channels like Cartoon Network can be added to Pluto TV? I know it’s owned by Paramount hence their Nickelodeon channels, but they’ve partnered with other studios to add content and the new leadership said they’re looking for money where they can find it. Or they could always copy Adult Swim’s strategy of streaming on their website. Kids aren’t watching cable anymore but just because cable is dying doesn’t mean the channels should die with them.

KZfaq TV better in my opinion, just sayin’. Sure may not have as many channels as Pluto TV but that’s fine with me. And if I wanted to watch movies or other tv shows not shown on tv anymore I would just go to Hulu

Superb portrayal of an engineering talent, and business man; perhaps James Dyson far more significant contribution will be as an teacher/ educator; can an out of date education system be prepared to adapt its out of date pedagogical practices?

I've been sticking to the free services because it's so much easier to deal with ads when I'm not paying. And Pluto is surprisingly good.

I have an antenna for my local channels and free streaming apps like Pluto TV, Tubi, Freevee, and RetroCrush. Plenty of content for no cost. The only paid streaming service I use is Peacock, and that's mainly for WWE.

I've used PlutoTV like normal television on my Smart TV without even realizing that it's a streaming service. The Spongebob Channel is in my favorites list, just like normal cable channels.

Sooooo……it’s all going Back to being cable again. Bruh #Back2theFuture The reason streaming is going backwards iz cuz the instant gratification of content can’t compete with quality & originality which takes Time to Manifest. All these streaming services offer the same old content from years ago(just like cable use to) & u had to wait till next season to get new content. Same with movies, it went to Theaters, then DVD, Then HBO, then catch it on cable. History Literally is repeating itself just 10x faster now smh

One other feature of PlutoTV you forgot to mention is that they have an On Demand service too, so you can watch movies and TV shows right from the start, even if you just missed the beginning by say half an hour or 10 minutes. Plus they have On Demand content that's not on any of the channels too, including classic or cult movies and shows.

I have been using Pluto TV for quite a while here in the UK, they used to have the Rifftrax channel on the service, but I think they lost the streaming rights to it and it's another channel now. I do watch MST3K quite a lot since I only got to finally see the show when Netflix briefly had bought the rights to stream the show a few years back and then I found PlutoTV had all the classic episodes for free. They don't seem to advertise Paramount+ over here for some reason, but VIACOM/CBS did buy one of our main TV networks, The Channel 5 Group a few years back and a lot of their most popular broadcast TV content is on PlutoTV on individual channels. Like Traffic Cops and Police Interceptors each having their own 24 hour channels.

Do a google search and you will see pluto has the most ads of any streaming service out there by far. Freevee is the only other one even close
@tomn993 ай бұрын
Pluto far and away has the most ads...just as many as cable TV. If you want old shows and programs Pluto is fine. It's funny though Paramount+ is doing terrible and they are looking to merge with other streaming services. Pluto is fine if you don't mind sitting thru a ton of ads. Tubi for instance does 3 minutes of ads an hour. Pluto does 13. For the record broadcast TV rules are 16 minutes a hour.

I won't watch any of the services with ads. If you can stand the interruptions, good on you. Give me an option to not have to watch the ads, I will take that every time. Also, when you're not paying for the service, you're not the customer. You're the product.

Xumo is a great option too. It's very similar to Pluto. Vudu is great for free movies (with ads).
@bighersh143 ай бұрын
Pluto has got it right with ad supported streaming. Most people have absolutely no issue with a streaming service having ads until you have ads when you already have to pay for the service, Disney plus, Netflix, Hulu are all getting flammed because they have ads but you still have to pay just to access the shows and movies. pluto has it right.
