This was the first band I ever got into myself back in 2000. No one recommended Ours to me one day I was flipping through the channels and saw the Sometimes video on MTV2. I then bought Distorted Lullabies and have been a fan ever since. Saw them live on their Mercy tour in 07’ in Austin TX. Great show. This band is so unknown and if known underrated. Gnecco’s vocal range is just wow and they have their own sound which is great as well. It’s worth noting that I only listen to bands with a unique sound and a unique sounding vocalist and Ours fits the bill love them

Elliot Conz - I also like his solo acoustic versions of Bleed and I'm a Monster. I can't remember off hand what the session was called but in the videos of it his hair is covering his eyes a bit and the background lighting is a bit reddish I think. I dunno, I haven't watched it in a while but both should be in my Ours playlist on my profile, you can check it out to see which ones I mean, if it's a public playlist. If I check it out before you get a chance then I'll post another comment with the links. Anyways, Jimmy is a great artist/performer. He's inspired a LOT of my own poetry and songs I've written in the past.

Any Idea why they decided to make this a music video instead of releasing the actual short film "8 for Infinity"?

This video is a work of art. It's so awesome that my favorite band made the final footage of one of my favorite martial arts actors in history. R.I.P. David. And good luck to Jimmy and Ours on their new tour. I hope I get to see you guys this time around.

Can we not all agree now as fans of -music- that Jimmy is the artist to carry Jeff Buckley's shadow? I do see them as separate men, however Jimmy has the talent to carry the baton that Jeff left with his tragic passing.

totally agree! saw them for the first time last year (after waiting for 12 long years to get the chance). it was as incredible as i expected. the only thing i was disappointed with was they opened for peter murphy so their set wasn't very long.

saw them last night in D.C. amazing band. Tell all your friends about them. They need more exposure. They are too good to be struggling artists. They should be well paid.
