They Grey Crow was an old bastard who stabbed you in the back for his own selfish gain, and trapped you in his same position to force your hand to help him. But the son of a bitch still deserved better than he got, just like the Urn Witch and Betty. I would've loved if he got a brief Eulogy from Steadholm at the mountain peak before Death sent you after the final boss.

This song absolutely *makes* that region of the game. It's *beautiful* and it's a goddamn travesty that you don't get to hear it when you go back to explore The Old Watchtowers in the post-game.

Ohh, and the OST even includes the muted, Indoor version that plays when you go inside to chat with Jefferson starting at 0:46. That's lovely.

I love that Barb plays the same song every time, just with new Lyrics. Like, on the one hand, it's a reasonable limitation to not make the composer make 4 different songs for him. On the other hand, it also kinda makes him feel even more like a poser who's phoning it in, and I love that.

Lovely Storming-the-Castle vibes from this one in context. All 3 of the areas leading up to the main boss fights have really bopping music- the Inner Furnace as a track doesn't do justice to how it feels in-game with all the pistons going, and this and The Old Watchtowers are just great tracks for the rising tension of battling your way to the boss fights.

I definitely remember dying to this track, but I can't seem to remember where it plays. It's not tied to Avarice, or to any of the main boss/miniboss fights as far as I can tell. Does it maybe play during some of the wave fights where enemies are spawning in through the red-pink door things?

I love how the pistons also become part of the music, being forced to sync even if you try to desync them by pausing the game. Fcking epic!

Reading the stories in the note you first find depressing how every civilization had reached ruin but this is so far the one I felt most glad to hear weren’t actual ruins but sections displaced in time and the civilization is still standing. Basically this world had a caste system based with mages on top and non mages on the bottom but finally the advent of electricity and technology allowed to non-mages to fight back and create a better world order.

Bow your heads and pay your last respects. Their time in this world is over.

You struck gold with this tune. The whole game’s soundtrack is amazing, but this is what I show people when I recommend the game.

Music Teacher Here! Playing through this part was definitely challenging but exciting at the same time. I especially love this one above the other soundtracks because of its 7/8 time signature!

I love how this piece captures the majesty of appearing on a high mountainside, but also seeing that you're still far from the peak.

I just finish the game last night and it really broke me when you find the last shining thing, the locket. I used to have two dogs, one was stolen, and the other one we have to put him to sleep 4 years ago, he was 21 years old, until the end he was strong willed, and a happy dog. Both were schnauzers, and after we put him to sleep i realized that i never slept alone in my room, was so difficult to sleep, and i grew tired everyday, so I understand Steadhone's lost, and free him was really painful, the tears in my eyes make it difficult hehe. I just wanna thank you again for making me feel this kind of things, it makes me feel alive. I hope your life is full of love and wonders.
