I agree -using videos of animals being scared or hurt is not funny and that includes acting like they are in trouble and making them think you are mad at them. Why do we see that so much more in ‘foreign;videos.

Why bathing cats? They hate it. They keep themselves clean. The only bath our cats had was the first one, when we got them from the street, they were full of fleas, but before the bath they were slightly treated with anesthetic to calm them down.

It’s true that cats do keep themselves clean, but sometimes they get into something that will cause them to stink and no matter how much they groom themselves they still stink, so giving them a bath every so often is fine, plus if they have long fur it will get matted and gross and stuff will get stuck in it, also in older cats or cats with health problems they have trouble cleaning themselves so cats do need baths for maintenance purposes.

I couldn't imagine life without my boys until I became homeless and had to choose what was best for them. Now that life is normal again I just hope they were happy. My vet's assistant adopted them so I'm sure they were. Whenever I used to bring them in for boarding when I went out of town she would declare that she wouldn't give them back when I got home. 😹
