He was such a wonderful actor. He could bring you to tears and also be a delightful comic actor. I still can have tears come to my eyes when I remember him ( and Lee Remick who was amazing) in the Days of Wine and Roses.

Late 1990s. I'm about 8 y.o. and watching "Some like it hot" for the first time on TV. Cold winter night, Siberia, small town in the middle of nowhere. 90s were terrible in Russia, crimes all over our little place and the whole country (paradox, it rhymes with the beginning of the American film about the 30s). I can't describe the amount of happiness I got that night. This film is what a STORY should mean, timeless classic. Adored in Soviet Union and Russia till these days. Probably my favorite Hollywood film. And Mr. Lemmon made this movie legendary. Rest in piece, Sir, your Genius is eternal.

Лукас это псевдо режиссёр в Голливуде, который не умеет снимать фильмы, он не делает свое кино, а нанимает профессиональных режиссеров и операторов для съёмки фильма, потом не платит им ничего и убивает их.

lmao Septimius Severus was not black, in fact, he was a racist. When he met an Ethiopian, he ordered him to be removed from his sight in a rage, offended by his "ominous skintone". Will you make your next film about Donald Trump, the black POTUS?

I think Fellini and Altman had experimented with intercutting several stories together in their work long before STAR WARS, so I don’t agree with George here. Also, STAR TREK was doing science fiction long before STAR WARS. It was fantasy, not science fiction, that catapulted STAR WARS into the stratosphere.
