This is a great film about David Lama's initial attempts before successfully summiting (Solo) Lunag Ri. Is there a version of this documentary that has English translations? I used Google's 'translate', but its results are so bad as to be useless.

@@pinarozge6895 Where is this 'link above'? Are you referring to 'CC' (Closed Captions/Subtitles)? That is what I tried. It uses Google's translation engine. It translates poorly. I also tried Publisher's notes (Show Transcript), and there's no link embedded within the video. Google's translate improves over time. For example, I used it to translate the Russian first ascent of K2 via. the brutal west face. It was so bad as to be comical. However, a year later, it had improved (still poor, but much better). This video's translation may be improving as well. Auto translate is not up to snuff yet. Ideally, the film's producer should provide that. If you know of anything better than the 'CC' function, please let me know.

Je n'aime pas cette manipulation, il a deux armes l'une avec des balles en caoutchouc et une autre un fusil de chasse à vraie balles. Alors ne fait pas entendre qu'il va s'exposer sans armes. Je suis certains que les loups l'aurait tué sans hésitation sans son fusil qu'il a certainement tiré en l'air.

Il ne faut pas être naïf toutes ces photos montrent des regards de loup prédateurs qui le voient en proie et rien d'autre. Si il n'a pas été tué cela ne tient pas à grand chose. Je suis certain qu'il avait son fusil au bras et a probablement tiré en l'air mais fait le héro en ne le disant pas.

@@SemperMagnus Je dis pas le contraire, mais j'ai du mal à voir comment on peut etre passionné de nature et tuer derrière un animal sauvage, tous ce qui est autour, le pistage de la bestiole etre longtemps dans la nature oui je comprends, mais faire tous ça pour détruire derrière c'est.....je sais pas, je comprend pas

Ce type est extraordinaire, j'avais déjà la passion de la nature et de la vie sauvage grâce à mes parents mais toi Vincent tu m'as donné envie de la photographier. Je suis en train de regarder quelle téléobjectif prendre pour mon appareil photo afin de diversifier les animaux que je photographie. Looks like just a normal ascent but that was one of the greatest feats ever done in mountaneering en par with the most dangerous and difficult routes. Absolutely marveling how Steck did that.

If it indeed happened as there no proof, no photo. Jordi Corominas K2 ascending through the magic line, summiting and then crossing over to go down through the Abruzzi Route in 2004 is just mind blowing.
