Evolutionist: someone who *believes in* or supports the *theory* of evolution.
@WickedWildlife
@WickedWildlife 20 сағат бұрын
@@SpicyCactus while I totally respect your right to an alternative idea it sounds like you don’t understand what the word “theory” means in a scientific context, Unlike in day to day English a theory is the highest level any scientific idea can attain. It’s also worth remembering that true scientists are always willing to admit there is more to know, and adapt their opinions based on more evidence, which makes it distinct from the blind faith of most religious ideas

Hats off to you and all Coastal Taipan handlers. I got close to a good size one and that snake was fast. The scary thing with me is as a kid I would have 100% free handled it like I did with Easter Browns in Adelaide. I doubt I would have been fast enough! I was crazier back then but you need to be skilled with a taipan if its skitchy like the snake I did a youtube on a month ago. So hats off to you mate. Andre

I suppose the claims are based on measurements, to my limited lay enthusiast knowledge though Black Mamba and Cobra bite victims get critical far more rapidly and deteriorate towards death much much faster than brown snake victims unless treated with antivenom.

@@mg10056 yes and I just finished remeasuring the toxicity thirty seconds ago and original measurements were incorrect the Brazilian wondering spider venom after further testing is actually and accurately 28,000,000,000, time's more powerful, considerably more powerful than my original testing 😁☠️👍

@WilliamStreiff You'd better inform online sources as well as THE CSIRO in Parkville Australia about your conclusions, because according to WORLD AUTHORITIES, the brazilian wandwring spider rates 2nd to the Sydney funnel web !!! The brazilian wandering spider's venom is said to equal SOME venomous snakes. The Taipan (Northern Queensland) tops the table. The most venomous creature on earth - The Chironex (box jellfish) again, Australian resident. Get your facts right !!

I’ve just seen this & im so sorry you’re going through this. I know you’ve probably looked at alternative therapies, have you looked into RSO (Rick stein oil) it’s cannabis based, we all have a natural cannabinoid system, there have been some fantastic results taking it…tumours shrinking, skin cancer being cured etc. im going to start taking it for NETs cancer, as I can’t have an op due to COPD

I'm gonna put it out here that the "redback under the dunny seat lid" legend probably dates to a time the dunny seat lid usually consisted of wooden construction. Imho thats a habitat preference:, I've almost never disturbed one in anything other than material of this medium. Invariably, for me, this spider hangs out in piled wood, heaped old cardboard boxes, garbage packed in cardboard, stacks of printing paper, timber and timber products. But not so much around polymers like nylon/plastic for its own sake. If these guys are colonising your corner of the globe, and you have to throw out old junk, garbage like flat-packed stacks of old cardboard boxes, or shovel wood chip mulch heaps, wood crates, collect firewood, doodle on dead trees, handle sawn timber left standing any length of time, in fact wooden anything, up to and including office paper and dusty desks, then be wary. Lignins and cellulitic compounds is their comfort blanket.

Interesting. ...and although l'm not gonna scroll thru 800+ comments to find one that debates you about the fact there were types of cobras in Australia I WILL SAY THIS "It's very true" ..... about 35yrs ago l was 15 and camping out bush in "Tipperary Springs" Victoria and long story short my 2 mates and l split out to gather fire wood, l saw a nice piece and as l crouched down to grab it l caught a glimpse of a shiny black circle behind it (a circumference of a hubcap) and in that split second a red belly coloured "COBRA" stood up about 2ft high and was staring me right in the face less than 2ft away (it most definitely had a large grilled out neck)...as l launched myself upwards and back away from it l kept my eyes on it and saw it rear back a little and lunge toward me and as l ran l yelled COBRA COBRA to mates... they just laughed and called BS about COBRA and so has everyone l ever told about it including family.....and now, thanks to this video I HAVE THE PROOF so thank you. I know what was staring me in the face that day and it was indeed a COBRA...clear as a bloody RED BUS on the street deadset, Cheers.

Around the central coast of NSW I’ve only seen jet black with a bright red mark, however out near the centre at a gas and oil facility swimming pool, while my mate cooled off I noticed these webs under the pool overhang. Curious I got down on my knees to peer under to find large red backs much more like the one you have there. No doubt as to what they were but could they be a variety slightly different to where I live? The red was more brownish and the spider seemed larger. The pool was closed, and the authorities were more than surprised. Thanks

Always worth watching, thanks. I was stoned off my face a long time ago with some mates. A good friend and very cool guy says to me there’s a funnel web spider under your chair. Calling his bluff I laughed and jiggled my feet around under the chair. He was sitting opposite and laughed saying “I’m fair dinkum” ! I knew him well enough realising his laugh was serious, anyway when I got up ready to look he said be careful it’s a big bastard, and it was. This was around 1980 and instead of catching it for venom extraction we killed it and very sad that I did. Hey intoxicated and not really capable of catching a lethal spider it seemed right at the time. Location Erina on the central coast.
